The fire tanker FT-5,0-40 (43253) is intended for to delivery of combat crew, fire technical armament to the place of fire, carrying out actions to extinguish fires in forests, cities and other settlements and carrying out emergency rescue operations.
The convenient design of the cockpit provides accommodation for a combat crew in the amount of 7 people (including the driver).

Design Features
– Comfortable cabin design enables occupancy for the fire-crew of 7 people
– Cabin consists of two sections: front and rear. They are connected by audio-visual intercom via window aperture, which is sealed automatically when the cabin is switched to the transport position.
– Access to the power unit is provided when the cabin front section is up. Another cabin is heated by standalone heaters.
– Spacious compartments for firefighting equipment enable advanced packaging.
– Pump is driven by vehicle engine through a gearbox and PTO driveline. The initial filling of the suction line and pump is established by the vacuum plant from the water reservoir.
– Can be serviced in temperate climate at an ambient temperature from -40 to + 40 °C.
