Fire tanker FT-6,0-40 (5557) is intended for delivery of a combat crew (in the amount of 7 people), fire-fighting armament, rescue tools and a stock of fire extinguishing agents to the place of fire.
It can be used as an independent combat unit or as a pumping unit when working in “pumping” with one or more tankers.

Design Features
- Spacious compartments for firefighting equipment bears capability to enhance standard features.
- The pump is located under the cab in the insulated enclosure creating common space with the cab, this prevents pump freeze up in winter time.
- Mechanical control of the pump maintains high reliability and serviceability.
- As an option: the firefighting compartment can be equipped either with rolling door or with a “click” door.
